Food Retail Project
Bostin Value is a local healthy food retail project that aims to improve access to and consumption of fruit and vegetables in a small neighbourhood in Brierley Hill.
The Food and Nutrition Team have applied social marketing principles to the project’s design and implementation. The scoping work identified the need to address both supply and demand to encourage parents, children and the wider community to consume more fruit and vegetables.

The stall aims to encourage people to buy more fruit and vegetables by offering competitive prices, tasters, ready-made fruit and vegetable bags and recipe cards which provide inspiration, convenience and value for money. At the same time, to increase demand, educational sessions and tasting sessions for children and parents are offered to improve food skills and raise awareness. Are you a local resident or work within the Hawbush community and would like to support the project? …then contact the Food and Nutrition Team
